Chemical sunscreens that now flood the market are designed to absorb into your bloodstream through your skin where a chemical reaction takes place. This reaction then absorbs UV rays as energy and disperses them as heat. These chemicals are linked to hormone disruption and coral reef bleaching.
Bamba Block does not absorb UV rays, it instead blocks them with Zinc!
Bamba Block comes packaged in a 100% recyclable glass jar. Made from certified all-natural, sustainably sourced ingredients, it provides UVA-UVB true broad-spectrum protection.
It comes in 4 shades, non-tinted, light, medium, and dark! If you plan to apply under make-up we recommend you get the non-tinted version. The tinted Bamba Block's are perfect for those days when you don't need to wear makeup but want minimal coverage.
Tinted with Cacao Powder and Iron Oxide for all natural color! Cacao powder stops premature breakdown of skin cells and also has properties that decrease the harmful effects of the sun’s rays!
It is important to note that this sunblock has not been tested in a lab to determine its SPF number, but based on its percentage of Zinc Oxide it is estimated to be around SPF 20-30.

How to use: Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure. Re-apply after 60 minutes of swimming or sweating, immediately after towel drying or every two hours if you are not swimming.
